The Runescape combat system was much less powerful than it is now before the June 11, 2007. Hitting a 40 with a whip would be worshipped and amazed. And Dharok and Verac armour has been recognized best. Magic shortbow was many ranger's most excellent option of weapon.

However on June 11, 2007, the darkbow and dragon arrows was released and it changed the lives of all rangers. As this weapon's power can be compared to Dharok's. And during the next few months, consecutive powerful items such as the godsword and the dragonfire shield has been added to the game. Prayers also had more power, and Runescape has gone "overpowered" as many observed.

So the poll is, did you like the old combat system more or the new combat system?
